A commitment to best practice in driven partridge shooting in Spain
This badge promotes best practices for game shooting in Spain. We support sustainable and responsible shooting, with good practice standards throughout the season.
The badge is a declaration of good practice, where shoots confirm that the birds are released before the shooting dates of the estate. There is enough land to release the birds to justify the number of shooting days. We strictly condemn the use of boxes or cages on a shooting day, or any other manipulation of the partridges on shoot days.
It reflects a commitment to traditional sporting standards, respect for the countryside, and properly organised shoot days.
Promoting well-managed and transparent shooting
The purpose of the badge is to identify and support estates/shoots that:
- Practice sustainable game shooting
- Traditional driven partridge shooting, with partridges driven to the line of guns.
- Maintain high standards of shoot management throughout the season
Our aim is to strengthen trust, credibility, and the long-term reputation of partridge shooting in Spain.

Core Principles
Best practice in the organisation of shoot days
Shoots displaying the badge confirm that:
- Birds are released before the shooting dates, allowing them to settle naturally.
- There is no use of boxes or cages, nor any other form of manipulation of the birds.
- There is sufficient land to justify the number of shooting days
- Birds have time and space to settle, adapt, and behave naturally
These principles are essential to authentic and responsible game shooting.
What the Badge Represents
A public declaration of best practices
The badge is not a prize or a commercial certification.
It is a voluntary declaration of best practice, through which shoots:
- Publicly confirm their commitment to ethical standards
- Demonstrate transparency in how their shoot days are organised
- Align themselves with responsible and sustainable shooting values
